I'm currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at Cheongju University.

My current research interests include the argument structure of non-core arguments and syntax and semantics of adpositions (P). In particular, I am currently looking at (i) non-core arguments introduced by P, and (ii) adpositions and their interaction with (motion/spatial configuration) verbs. As the empirical domain of this research, I am doing field research on Blackfoot (Algonquian), and I am also examining related issues in Korean and Japanese. I have previously worked on causatives, passives, applicatives, and inchoatives in various languages, including Korean, Japanese, English and Georgian. Some of the result of this research can be found in my dissertation and other several other journal papers and conference proceedings. The complete version of my thesis is found under the My Thesis link on the left-hand side of this page.
