William Reed Sr. was born in Ireland. He lived in Centre Township, Perry County, died in February 4, 1849. PERRY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, Green Park- The first house was built by William Reed, about 1834.

Elizabeth married John Black Ramsey had 3 kids with him & died young in 1845.
Sarah married John Black Ramsey (after the death of Elizabeth) and had 2 with her.

2. Andrew Jackson Reid: b-Jun. 21, 1837 in Blair County, Pa Civil War 9th Regiment PA Calvary, PVT Co B ; died Apr. 10, 1871. Civil War vet. Pvt., Co. G, Independent Batt. Pa. Militia & Pvt., Co. M, 9th Pa. Cavalry. Date of service 29 May 1864 to 19 Aug. 1864. Andrew marched to the sea with Sherman. Married Susannah Wolfe Reid.
3. James B. Reid: b- Jan. 20, 1840 in Perry county, Pa., He was associated with the Patriotic Order Sons of America, being commander of the Hollidaysburg lodge. He was also a prominent Odd Fellow, being a member of Wahneta lodge, No. 1142 of Hollidaysburg. In addition to this he was a member of the Union Veteran Legion of this city, having a long and honorable service in the civil war. For years he has taken an active part in all Grand Army affairs held in this section, being each year identified with the Grand Army d-Nov 16, 1908 in Blair County, Pa buried in Geeseytown Cemetery. He was married Mary Martha Wolfe. Children: Alice Blanche Reid m- Andrew Bice, Minnnie Katherine Reid m- Oliver Price, Marta Ann Reid, Andrew Sherman Reid, Lida May Reid m- Lindsay, Mary Elsie Reid, Charles John Reid.

5. Jacob Luther Reid: AKA-Jake & JL, b-May.1850 in Blair Co. resided in Cameron County (1880 Sterling Run, Cameron County, Pa-1900 & 1910 Beechwood, Cameron Co. census). Occupation-blacksmith, farmer / carpenter. He moved to La Salle, New York in May 1914. He tore down his barn and house, loaded it on 3 cars and took everything with him. 49 acres in Beechwood were sold. He died November 8, 1928 in Niagara County, NY. Buried in the Riverdale Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. m.Margaret Smith: AKA-Maggie b-2/1852 in Saint Marys, PA d-10/20/1934 in Niagara County, NY.
