George Washington Warner was born Nov. 13, 1826 in Chenango County N.Y.the son of
Robert Bostwick Warner and Priscilla Bixby, b. Apr. 22, 1796, near Meriden, Conn.
George Warner was an associate judge. He came to Emporium in 1851 and became active in
farming and lumbering. He married Julia Earl on November 10, 1861, the daughter of
John and Anise (Taggart) Earl. Judge Warner and Mrs. Warner had one child, Robert B.
Judge Warner was a member of the school board, borough council, county treasure,
associate judge, member of legislature (1887), justice of the peace, and burgess.
George Washington Warner died Dec. 1, 1902, at Emporium, Pa.

Note: Robert B had a son George Washington Warner born 1898 who moved to Johnsonburg, Elk County, PA
and died September 10, 1932 of Hodgkin's disease.
