KUSHAGRA SINGHAL
I work in the quantitative modeling team at Goldman Sachs, Bangalore.
I graduated from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with an MS degree in 2016. My thesis research was focused on graph matching problem with application to social network privacy. I was advised by Professor Negar Kiyavash.
I graduated from the Electrical Engineering Department of IIT Kanpur with a dual degree(BTech and MTech) in 2014. I worked under the supervision of Dr. Rajesh Hegde. I worked on Source Localization using Spherical microphone array. I also investigated the use of sparse reconstruction and machine learning to localize speech sources in 3D space.
I was a visiting scholar at VUB Belgium in summers 2012. I attended the Spring Doctoral School 2012 conducted by the ELEC department at VUB where I learned about Non Linear System Identification. I also worked on a research project at IIT Kanpur under the supervision of Dr. Hegde in summers 2011 resulting in a publication.
I did my High schooling from St. Conrad's Inter College Agra.
