My research is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

Hi! I'm Kunda Kambaso.

I am a PhD student of Prof. Dr. Ghislain Fourier in Aachen, Germany.

My research topic is on (Linear) Degenerate Schubert Varieties. I am trying to use similar methods that have been used in the study of the PBW degenerate flag variety for the Schubert Variety setup. I would like to define in the most natural way the degenerate Schubert variety and study this object. Up to now, my main areas of research include representation theory (PBW degenerations of Lie algebras), which leads naturally to finding a description of standard monomials that give a basis for the associated homogeneous coordinate rings (of Schubert varieties in this case).

See the activities section for my past and current activities.
