Bingo Helpers Needed

posted Oct 22, 2014, 7:20 PM by Michael Cline   [ updated Feb 17, 2015, 9:41 PM ]

Besides a Bingo Caller, we need a couple of other Bingo Helpers...

  1. Someone to sell Bingo dabbers one Sat. a month.
  2. Help set up the pot luck.

  3. Are you looking for something to do on Saturday evening?  We could sure use a volunteer or two to help out at our Saturday B-I-N-G-O.

If you have one Saturday evening free every 4 or 6 weeks, we are looking for someone to come in to sit at the table where bingo daubers are sold, to help set up the serving line for the mid game pot luck and to help clear off the serving line after everyone has eaten.  If you are interested please stop by our center or call  (208) 922-9714.

  4.  In this request for volunteers for the Saturday night bingo. I would like to point out that it would only be for a couple hours once a month. So please thing about it and for this activity you do need to be a senior.

A wii is Needed!

If anyone has a wii for sale (for a reasonable price), the Senior Center would love to hear from you.  Not everyone likes to shoot pool, work puzzles and/or play pinochle before lunch.  I think a number of our seniors would enjoy the challenge of playing games on a wii.  You can reach us Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, or leave a message at anytime and we will get back with you.  The wonderful thing about a wii is people in wheelchairs and walkers can also play.  Our number is (208) 922-9714

Do you have spare time on Saturday evening and would like to get out around other people?  Our Saturday night BINGO MANAGER is looking for another person to train to be a VOLUNTEER BINGO CALLER to work one Saturday evening every 4 or 5 weeks.  On the night a volunteer calls bingo, he/she receives a certificate for a $10 bingo packet to play on another Saturday evening.  If interested, you can call the Senior Center at (208) 922-9714 OR SEE CORY ON SATURDAY EVENING AT THE CENTER.
