The Senior Center has many types of activities of available - some scheduled, and some not. See below for a list of the different types of activities we offer. 

For a scheduled activities, see the Senior Center Events Calendar. Non-scheduled activities are available on the days when the Senior Center is open (Mon, Wed, Fri).  Activity updates are also listed in the "Senior Living Section" of the Kuna Melba News.

  • Pool -  8:30am to noon, for $1 per week. Do you like to shoot pool? We have 3 pool tables available and enough sticks for everyone! THE POOL PLAYERS DO ARRIVE AT 8:00. IF YOU WISH TO JOIN THEM, THE FRONT DOOR WILL BE UNLOCKED SO COME ON IN.

  • PinochleWe have pinochle players every Mon., Wed., and Fri. from 8:30 until just before our noon meal.  We can always set up more tables so feel free to join us.  We play for fun and we teach people who would like to play.  We have a "cheat sheet" for those who need to refresh there memory in regards to what is what.  There is even a smaller fee (than pool) which is $1 per month.
  • Dominoes

  • Friday Morning Bingo! - Every Friday from 11:00 am - 11:50 am.  The games are free.  We have quite the variety to choose from.   There is a limit of 2 cards per person and every winner gets to pick out a prize.  You do not have to be a member to play, but you do have to be at least 18yrs. old.  A huge THANK YOU! to CUSTOM RX,  WALGREENS , and our SENIORS for furnishing prizes for this event. Some of our  seniors bring in small items for prizes and/or drop some money into the B-I-N-G-O prize donation can.  Our senior, Louise, uses the money to purchase prizes. 
  • Saturday Bingo - Doors open at 4:30pm - Early Bird Bingo starts at 6pm. For those 18 yrs old and above. No game packets are sold after the main games that start at 6:30pm.  There is a potluck during intermissionfor everyone, whether you bring a dish to share or not. SATURDAY NIGHT BINGO IS STILL GOING STRONG!!  On a recent Saturday, attendance reached 73.   Depending on the packet you purchase, the cost runs between $10 and $20. Remember, the more who play, the higher the payouts. 
Bring a canned food item for the Kuna Food Bank and receive a FREE $1 intermission game sheet! The maximum number of free sheets is 6 - in exchange for 6 cans donated. 

  • Live Entertainment - The first Friday, and the second and third Wednesdays of each month.
  • Educational Speakers - We host an educational speaker prior to our noon meal once or twice a month.

Field Trips
  • Field Trips - are sponsored two or three Thursdays a month and transportation is provided by our Senior Bus. We have go to places like the Zoo, and..

Other Activities
  • Fun Holiday Events - Like Christmas lights tours, and a New Years Eve party, a Halloween costume contest... and more!
  • Participation in Community Events - Like Kuna Days
  • Arts & Crafts - We have many activities where you can learn to make arts and crafts.
