Biomedical Image Analysis

As a PhD student in the Asclepios project team at INRIA (Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et en Automatique) in France, I am currently working on statistical models of cardiac growth and deformation using medical images. In particular, I am interested in modelling the growth and deformation of the heart under pathological conditions for patients with congenital heart defects in order to assist cardiologists in diagnosis and treatment planning. My PhD work is supervised by Xavier Pennec and Maxime Sermesant from INRIA - Sophia Antipolis.

I am working in the context of the European Care4Me project (Cooperative Advanced Research for Medical Efficiency) that aims to improve quality and productivity in health-care using advanced medical imaging and decision-support methods combined with different knowledge sources, from early diagnosis to treatment and monitoring.
