Foundation: 2015 Most Valuable Student Scholarship
-Most Valuable Student Scholarships are for
students pursuing a four-year degree, on a full-time basis (minimum of 12
semester hours), in a U.S. college or university.
-Any high school senior who is a citizen of
the United States is eligible to apply.
-Applicants need not be related to a member of
-College students are not eligible to apply.
-Applicants must be citizen of the United
States on the date their applications are signed; permanent legal resident
status does not qualify.
-Male and female students compete separately.
-Applicants are judged on scholarship,
leadership, and financial need.
(ranging from $1,000-$12,500 per year) will be awarded for four years:
-2 first-place awards of $50,000 ($12,500/year)
-2 second-place awards of $40,000 ($10,000/year)
-2 third-place awards of $30,000 ($7,500/year)
-14 (fourth-place) awards of $20,000 ($5,000/year)
-480 runners-up awards (fifth-place) of $4,000 ($1,000/year)

- Be a United States citizen or legal resident
living or claiming residency in one of the 50 U.S. States, District of
Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
-Be a current high school senior who plans to
enroll full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university
in the United States for the entire 2014-2015 academic year.
-Demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced
by outstanding achievement in school, community or work-related activities.
-Special consideration will be given to
achievements that empower society to better face risk through education and
action in areas such as financial, environmental, health, and/or emergency
scholarships will be awarded (1
to a recipient from each U.S. State, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico)
10 of these recipients will
be selected to receive an additional $15,000
|December 15, 2015; only the first 10,000 applications will be accepted.|
The Scholarship American Dream Award
This is a scholarship for past graduates (Class of 2015 or before). You can access this scholarship in the "My Scholarships" section of your student profile in your Dollars for Scholars account.
-For students currently enrolled in postsecondary education programs (4-year, 2-year, or certificate programs) who need help paying for their second year and beyond.
| Award amounts range between $5,000 and $10,000, depending on need.||December 15, 2015|
Better Business Bureau: Student of Integrity Scholarship
Only 1 scholarship application per school will be accepted. All interested students will turn their applications in to Mrs. Bauer by December 18th. A scholarship committee will then select the best application. That person will then submit their application to the BBB by the January 8th deadline date.
-Must be a high school senior scheduled to graduate in 2016
-Must be a student of integrity (insightful, kind, fair-minded, unintimidating and ardent in your desire to make sound decisions

-5% Future Plans and Transcripts
-5% Letters of Recommendation
|8 scholarships of $2,500 will be awarded. ||Due to Mrs. Bauer by 3:15 on December 18th. A scholarship selection committee will then decide which applicant can move forward for our school. The person the scholarship committee selects will then need to submit their application to BBB by 5:00pm on January 8th. |
