Krishna is Assistant Professor at the School of Politics and International Relations (SPIRe)University College Dublin (UCD), Dublin, Ireland. 

Having pursued his PhD (Economics) at University of Heidelberg and University of Goettingen, Germany, he defended his dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Axel Dreher at University of Heidelberg, Germany in September 2012. Krishna holds Masters degree in Applied Economics from University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain; and also MBA and a Bachelors degree in Commerce (Honours) from India. Previously he served as Junior Professor at University of Goettingen (Germany) and at Norwegian University of Science & Technology (NTNU), (Norway). He is a visiting fellow at Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) and a board member of editorial committee of Journal of Peace Research (JPR) and International Area Studies Review (IASR).
    Research Fields:     Economic and Political outcomes of Globalization, Development aid, International Financial Institutions and                                                    Natural resources, and Political Economy of Development in India.
