Biography:

My mother started teaching me how to read music and play the piano when I was about 4 years old. When I was about eight I started taking  private guitar lessons. At the age of 10 I started playing sax and flute at school and I’ve continued to play all these instruments ever since.

When I was 18 years old I started playing professionally around the NYC area, where I really started to learn the music business. Also, I continued to study privately with such masters as the late, great Nick Brignola. Who became my mentor and friend.

At age 20 I attended the world renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston on a partial scholarship, majoring in composition. I started teaching privately around this time. I’ve continued to gig and teach ever since.
