Koteswar is serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur). He also holds an Adjunct Faculty position in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi), where he previously served as a full-time faculty member. He earned his PhD from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and his BTech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee). His research interests include computer vision and multimedia, and he has several publications in top-tier conferences and journals, including CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TIP, TMM, and TCSVT. Koteswar's research group, Visual Intelligence and Multimodal Signals (VIMS) Lab, is seeking motivated PhD, Master's, and BTech students interested in Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
