Koteswar is an Assistant Professor in the SPCOM stream of the Electrical Engineering (EE) department in the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur). Previously, he was affiliated with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi). He holds a PhD from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and a BTech from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee). His research focuses on Computer Vision, Multimedia and AI/ML with several publications in top-tier conferences and journals, including CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TIP, TMM and TCSVT. Koteswar's research group, Visual Intelligence and Multimodal Signals (VIMS) Lab, is seeking motivated PhD, Master's, and BTech students interested in Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
