I am currently a Quantitative Researcher for one of Europe's largest Hedge funds in Zurich. I am working on developing new long-short equity signals as well as improving our equities execution pipeline.

Before moving to Switzerland, I spent a wonderful 1.5 year as a Research Scientist at Amazon in Berlin. Broadly my research interests lie mostly in the areas of optimization machine learning and distributed algorithms.

I received my PhD from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at McGill University. I have a MSc in Computer Science from Rice University and a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. In the past I have done research on robotics, multi-agent coordination, sampling-based search algorithms, real-time motion planning and computer graphics.
