Land Trail Areas

There are several existing major land trail destinations in Lake County.

Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Ukiah Field Office.
Trails at Cache Creek Natural Area, Cedar Roughs Wilderness Area, Cow Mountain Recreational Area, Indian Valley/Walker Ridge, Knoxville Recreation Area and scattered tracts on Mt. Konocti and the Geysers.

Boggs Mountain Demonstration State Forest: Nearly 20 miles of trails for walking, horse and bike riding. California Division of Forestry and Fire.

Highland Springs Recreation Area: The Lake County Watershed Protection District owns approximately 3,200 acres of property in the Adobe Creek Watershed commonly known as the Highland Springs Recreation Area, with equestrian and hiking trails.

Mendocino National Forest - Upper Lake Ranger District: Covering Lake Pillsbury and the Snow Mountain Wilderness

California State Parks: Including Anderson Marsh State Historic Park and Clear Lake State Park
