Konahrik's Accoutrements (Quest)

Starting the Quest
Konahrik's Accoutrements can be started in three ways:
  1. Reading The Dragon Forge
  2. Entering the Dungeon Revakheim
  3. Picking up Konahrik's Robes, Gauntlets, or Greaves (if you recieved them in a previous version).

The Clay Mask

After entering Revakheim, follow path straight to the wooden doors. Inside are the "living quarters" where the Clay Mask can be found. Equipping the mask in certain areas will allow you to travel back in time.

The Hall of Stories

Head further down the dungeon, and the pathway splits into two directions. The player must find the route that hasn't been destroyed yet, and leads safely to the 
Hall of Stories. In the Hall of Stories, a Dragon Priest named Fjalar the Forgemaster awakens, and the player must kill him. His corpse contains a Bronze Claw. The Bronze Claw is the key to open up the puzzle door to the main chamber.

The solution for the puzzle door is: dragon, dragon, dragon

Puzzle Door Solution:

Once you have opened the puzzle door, you will come to a large chamber. To cross the large pool you will have to equip the clay mask near the time wound. This sends the player back in time to when the bridge was still intact. Cross the bridge, and you'll find the legendary Dragon Forge.

Guilded Robes

Continuing the quest requires obtaining Konahrik. Near the Dragon Forge is a alcove which contains Konahrik's Robes. Next to the portculis is a bust. Place Konahrik (mask) on the bust, at take the robes and equip them. The wall behind the player begins to make noise and shimmer. Use an offensive shout on the wall to break it open. Continue down the staircase.

The Pit

This chamber is dark, and riddled with fire traps. The player must avoid the traps at all costs. In the main chamber, the player must defeat a living Dragon Priest named Fodiiz, the guardian of the rest of Konahrik's Accoutrements. His corpse contains a parchment written in Dragon Language, the Revakheim Key, Iron Robes, and Iron Scale Greaves and Gauntlets. The door behind Fodiiz's throne reveals Konahrik's Gauntlets, the second piece of the golden set, and the door leading to Revakheim Snare.

The Maze

The Snare is composed mostly of a large and confusing maze. The maze contains fog, and Spectral Guardian enemies. The maze eventually leads to a platform in a pool, holding Konahrik's Greaves, the third and final piece of the golden set. The player must use the Whirlwind Sprint Shout, or the Vampire Lord's Bats power to reach it, as it is inaccessible from the water. The platform then leads to the door leading to Revakheim Vault, the final chamber of Ancient Revakheim.

The Vault

The Vault is an immense chasm, with a large platform at it's end. The (Warlord) Elder Scroll sits atop it. Upon reaching the Elder Scroll, a force field forms around it, and a dragon, Zinkelkah, flies into the cave, where the player must kill him. When the dragon is dead, the player must approach the Elder Scroll, and equip all four pieces of Konahrik's Accoutrements, including the mask. The player is sent back to the present, where the cave has now been transformed into an ice cavern.  The player can then retrieve the Elder Scroll, completing the quest.


  • The Elder Scroll can first be seen via a cave in the ruins which leads to a balcony above the vault.
  • To leave the present day Revakheim Vault, the player must re-equip the mask near where the Elder Scroll was, and back-track to the Snar. Removing the mask in the snare will return the wearer to the ruins.
  • Fighting Zinkelkah is not required to complete the quest
