People those were present on the 15 December 2007 at
Vivekanada Hall, Jadavpur University – one and all enjoyed Kolkata Aitijjhya’s
brilliant program. All appreciated the thoughts behind the designing of this

started with Raga Patdeep, an afternoon raga, where he sang on the lines of Gwalior
gharana – that he learn from his first vocal teacher who was a student of
Pt. Vinayak Rao Patwardhan. After this he sang Bahar in Rangeela style as
learnt from his teacher Keshtobabu who was a disciple of legendary Pt.
Bhismadev Chattopadhyay. After this he sang a Bengali Khyal on raga Behag.
Finally, on audience request he presented raga Jaijawanti. The audience was enthralled with the performance. One
