Junior members who are fans of the CBBC programme - "Sam and Marks Big Friday Windup" might well have a felt a sense of deja vu when they watched last night's episode, as one of the secret 'windup locations' for tennis players Cameron and Luis, was none other than our very own Knutsford Tennis courts !!
If you want to see our lovely courts again then see the link below ... the courts get a showing about 23 mins into the programme ...
Pictures taken back in September when the scenes were being filmed can be seen HERE.
We would like to apply for some funding from Active Cheshire and in an unusal application process we have had to produce a short video explaining our project and then get as many people as possible to vote for it, the three projects with the most votes by the end of January go forward to a short list for final judging.
So please cast your vote NOW (it wouldn't cost you anything!) - you can vote via your internet browser on your computer, phone, tablet, internet TV, games console etc!! . Just follow the link ....
and click on 'Vote for this entry' under 'Resurfacing of Junior Courts' (on page 2).
