Monday 31st October to Thursday 3rd November is the date for the October tennis camps The popular half term camps can be registered for by visiting this website - www.tennis-aces.co.uk and visiting the camp page, or downloading the attached flyer and emailing the details to head coach Mark Airey.
As of Monday July 25th the club's very popular summer tennis camps get under way. So in order to give you heads up, below is a rough estimate as to what court availability will be like. If in doubt contact coach Mark Airey on 07787 510 702 to check when you are planning to come down, so he can advise what availability to expect.
In general, camps run between 9AM and 4PM, Monday to Friday - Mark will try and keep the top two courts free for members to use on a first come first served basis, but please look at the week by week detail below.
If there appears to be people waiting to play members are asked to be considerate and play short sets.
Week by Week details :
Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding at this very busy time for the courts.
The club's own league competition for members started on Saturday 14th May and some matches have already been played - don't forget you get points for playing a match whether you win or lose, so the incentive is there to take part. If you want to find out more please email Chris Marsh (firstname.lastname@example.org). Matches can be played at any time between Saturday 14th May and Friday 30th September, but please remember that matches against other clubs and Club Nights / Social sessions have priority on the use of courts.
The Draught House Bar will be open with its great selection of wines, draught beers, ciders and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks. So come to the home of tennis in Knutsford to watch both the ladies and mens finals on 9th and 10th July. Hopefully we will be watching Murray - unless Mark's protégé Liam causes an upset.
Our first ever parent and child tournament on Saturday was a huge success with 30 participants. The younger generation felt they carried the older one - except in the piggy-back race! But great fun was had by all in beautiful sunshine. We'll definitely be holding it again.
