Spring Has Sprung at Tennis Aces !

posted 29 Feb 2016, 03:36 by Moya Meredith   [ updated 29 Feb 2016, 03:39 ]

Spring is definitely in the air ! Head Coach Mark Airey has just launched the Tennis Aces Easter Tennis Camps and Spring 'In term' coaching programme. Click HERE for a copy.

As you will see there are lots of opportunities for both adults and juniors to participate.

The very popular holiday camps for children aged 4 – 14 are an excellent way to introduce a child to tennis and give them a ‘crash course’ in all aspects of the game or take a child’s development to the next level with an intensive 5 ½ hours of play per day. Both members and non-members welcome.

*Please make note of the extended hours on all future camps - now 9AM - 4PM instead of 10AM - 3.30PM at no added cost proving great value for money.*

There are opportunities for all aged 4 to adults throughout each week. For children, you will see the programme is based on the childs school year and focuses on the fundamentals required to progress through the different stages of tennis. For adults, there are opportunities to improve fitness through cardio tennis, touch up on technique and matchplay and enjoy social mornings.

To book a place on any of the above, please fill in the form and  return to the address provided with payment or simply email me your reservation and pay on line - details are on the brochure.

If you have any queries then don't hesitate to contact  Mark on Mobile: 07787 510702 or email

posted 4 Jan 2016, 06:30 by Moya Meredith   [ updated 4 Jan 2016, 06:38 ]

Happy New Year all and here's to a great year of tennis at Knutsford Tennis Club!!

All junior and adult coaching sessions resume from Saturday 9th and then each week night after that for 10 weeks. The coaching brochure is HERE to see all options. To register please text or email Mark direct.

The members junior club night is resuming from Friday 8th. Mark is changing the club night for this term as an experiment - it will be just 2 sessions. The first session being 4.30-6.00pm for primary school years 4,5 & 6, and the second session being 6.00-7.30pm for all secondary school years. Children are welcome to come and leave any time within these sessions as long as this is organised by the parents.

The adult club night on Tuesdays will be back up and running by Mark from Tuesday 12th and the Thursday club night run by the committee (Start date to be confirmed).

There are going to be many fantastic events this year for you to get involved with and have fun, so please keep an eye out on the clubs bulletins. The fun Colour run for one! Many themed and organised tournaments like the box leagues, strawberry and cream Wimbledon tournament, the mixed handicap tournament (if the weather allows this year!) Mark is going to try a couple of new ones - a junior and adult tournament and a touch tennis tournament - lots of fun! And don't forget our summer junior and adult teams in their respective leagues.

Any questions or suggestions you feel you would like to see happen at YOUR tennis club, then don't hesitate to contact Mark direct or one of the committee.

Come And See Our New Courts :))

posted 9 Nov 2015, 02:01 by Moya Meredith

Our new courts are in full operation now and are fantastic !!! The Handicap Tournament on Saturday November 14th   will be our first big event on the new courts so even if you can’t play on the day (sign up with Mark), pop down for some tea and cake.

We're planning a media launch on Tuesday 24th November that will coincide with Club Night, so our visitors can see the courts getting used (weather permitting!).  So please put the date in your diaries and hopefully we can get some play and show off our club to the local community.  We may even have a chairmen’s 4 on the night, so Sally, Steve and Ken be warned.!!
