Our Village

Knowle Village (formerly Knowle Farm) consists of around 750 dwelling, approximately 150 are apartments which where built in the listed part of Knowle Mental Hospital, formerly known as Hampshire County Lunatic Asylum. The village has its own Community Hall which is owned by Wickham Parish Council and is overseen by the KCBA (Knowle Community Buildings Association). The Community Hall is open to all and holds many events and sporting activities. There are tennis courts, a football pitch and a skate park on site. Knowle Village also has it's own cricket club. Knowle is a unique village set within acres of farmland and boasts countryside walks to the local pub in Funtley, The Miners Arms (1.3 miles towards Fareham), and Wickham (1.6 miles) where you will find a host of eateries as well as the local pub The Kings Head (Dogs aloud). There is also an on site bar called Arty's, a Beauty Parlour called Strictly Beauty, a convenience shop and an estate agents called Pure Let. The old chapel is now owned by a company called Point 13 Media.
Knowle village is privately managed by Consort.
