Seth & Sarah

Welcome to my wedding planning bio!  I've been planning this since June 2007 and this site is everything I have come up with.  However, many ideas are still changing so this is by no means final and many pages are still under construction.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

 Our Story

HOW WE MET: Seth and I both lived in the Love wing of a dorm on University of Nebraska-Lincoln's campus my freshman year, his sophomore year. I was down on his floor talking to some other friends of mine when I heard the first NCAA football game of the season on in his room. I popped my head in to check the score and we talked a little about how I didn't have anyone to watch football with because the girls I knew weren't big fans of it. So, I started watching games in his room and our relationship grew from there.

THE PROPOSAL: Seth and I went to the original Misty's for dinner. Then, we went to campus and walked around for awhile. We sat down at a picnic table near Memorial Stadium (where the Huskers play)! We took walks often and always stopped at that bench. He went to his car and brought back a scrapbook he made (and the ring). We went through the scrapbook and then when we were done he got down on one knee and asked if I would take the ring and be his wife. Of course, I said yes; but, it actually took me awhile because I forgot I was supposed to say something!

Our Wedding: We are planning on having about 250 guests (adults and kids). We'll be married in a church then have the reception about 20 minutes away in Scoular Ballroom. We are having a buffet-style dinner and then dancing the night away with a DJ. The most important thing to me is that everyone attending has fun! We still have awhile and I have the major vendors booked so I'm just enjoying being engaged right now and working on smaller projects.

DISCLAIMER: I have been collecting pictures for awhile now so let me know if I have one of yours.

I can be paged on the Omaha local board or May 09 board.
