This survey was based on the 1964 land survey that Mr. Durkee did. The Durkee survey had an error, calculating the school land as a total of 5 acres. This shifted the cemetery leaving graves in Floyd Wilson's yard and pasture.
This is Martin Vanburen Knoles original land patent. It contained the operational Pleasant Ridge School, Church and Cemetery by accident. The courthouse forgot to exclude it from the deed. It should have been 156 not 160.
This is the Warranty Deed selling the Knoles School Land consisting of 3 acres that had the school house on it. It withheld the cemetery. Meaning the Little Axe School District still owned it. This Wilson is the Parents of the current owner Floyd Wilson. Note also that a Wilson sat on the school board that made the decision to sell the land.
