Our members are retired or semi retired professional and businessmen. We meet once a month at the Antoinette Hotel, Kingston upon Thames for a three course lunch followed by a speaker. Other events are organised by club members such as group visits or rambles.

Click on our Future Events page to see what is planned for each month. We are looking for more speakers for 2017.

Our speakers cover a broad range of subjects, particularly on matters of local interest. Our October speaker was Amy Graham who is head of Kingston's History Centre. She treated us to an on-screen history of Kingston in World War Two. Few of us were aware of the impact the war had on Kingston and the way our people coped with it although most of our members were brought up in the borough. New Malden was the worst hit with bombing and aerial machine gun strafing of passengers leaving a train in the station. Surprisingly the Hawker aircraft factory did not seem to be a target.

If you are interested in becoming a member you are welcome to come as a visitor, Book your lunch by contacting  our Secretary  Chris Shires Tel:020 8977 6204 Email: chris.shires@tiscali.co.uk. Lunches cost £18.00. The annual membership fee is £15.00. We meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 12:15 in the bar of the hotel. There is ample car parking space.
