Must Do:

• Watch video lessons 1) Phonics Module 6,  2) Phonics Module 7, 3) Phonics Module 8, and 4) Phonics Module 9 on vowels (available below).  

• Download and complete the phonics module notes for each phonics module.  Submit these notes on Canvas.  

• Read through the Vowels Study Guide power points and do the practice questions.  There is nothing to submit. 

• Complete Phonics Quiz 5: Vowels.  Quiz is available on Canvas.

Should Do:

• Watch Document Camera Shorts on Phonetic Skills.  Submit the notes on Canvas (coming soon).

• Read the chart on Types of Vowel Graphemes.

• Complete the Quiz Survey after your first attempt at the quiz and before you take an additional attempts.

Aspire to Do:

• Visit the Modern Classroom Project website, go to the Free Course, create a free account, and complete the first three modules "The Modern Classroom Model.  You may do this with a partner.
