Must Do:

• Watch video lesson on Phonics Module 10: Syllables and Accent Patterns (available below).

• Download and complete Phonics Module 10 Notes. Submit your notes on Canvas.  

• Read through the Phonics Module 10 Study Guide power point and do the practice questions. There is nothing to submit.

• Complete Phonics Quiz 6: Syllable and Accent Patterns. Quiz is available in Canvas.

Should Do:

• Watch Document Camera Shorts that go with Syllables and Accent Patterns.  Submit the notes on Canvas. 

• Watch the Jamey Peavler videos on teaching syllable division available below. 

• Complete the Quiz Survey after your first attempt at the quiz and before you take an additional attempts.

Aspire to Do:

• Be a SuperStar! Plan and develop a ~10 minute mini-lesson on either syllables or accent patterns. This 10 minute mini-lesson will be delivered during class time (as arranged with the instructor).

• Continue through the free course on Modern Classroom Project and finish the free online course. You may do this with a partner.
