Kelsh Wilson Design

For more than 20 years, Kelsh Wilson has been creating award-winning visual identities, logos, publications packages, and Web sites for colleges, schools, and corporations. I was lucky enough to work there for over seven years, most recently as senior writer. Now I continue to partner with the firm as a senior writing associate, shaping the creative strategy for various projects along with doing the research, interviewing, and copywriting.

Sage Communications works closely with nonprofits and foundations, as well as businesses promoting a cause, to help them get the word out about their vision, progress, and achievements. Sage's work runs the gamut from media relations and training, to creating op-eds and press releases, to marketing and communications strategies. I am always excited to work with them because every single one of their projects is about changing society for the better.

Based in State College, PA, and Parc City, UT, Snavely Associates specializes in creating print and digital communications to support colleges and universities, hospitals, independent schools, and other nonprofits in their fundraising efforts. They have been at it for more than 30 years, working with hundreds of impressive institutions across the nation, and it has been a privilege for me to join their team as a writer on selected projects for major medical centers and universities.

Steege Thomson Communications began in 1985, when Michele Steege and Carol Thomson combined their talents as marketing strategists with an expertise in development communications to create a communications firm focused solely on the needs of nonprofit institutions and organizations. Over the years, I have worked with them to write case statements for several independent schools, and more recently I joined their writing team for the Smithsonian Institution's development communications work. I also contribute to their communications efforts on behalf of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's "Solving Disparities" research program, which funds projects focused on reducing disparities in health and health care access.
