Chair-Elect

  • Assume the position of Chair at the conclusion of Chair-Elect’s term;

  • Assume the duties of the Chair in their absence;

  • Assist the Chair in planning and implementing the annual LIRT Retreat.

  • Typically, the Chair-Elect’s home institution serves as location for the annual LIRT Retreat. Therefore, the Chair-Elect is typically expected to be the site host / liaison for coordinating logistics (room scheduling, food arrangements, technology, etc.) for the annual LIRT Retreat at that institution. However, the Chair and other officers may choose to designate another officer as the site host / liaison for the annual LIRT Retreat.

Secretary-Treasurer

  • Prepare the minutes of the meetings, or arrange for another member to record minutes;

  • Search the minutes for information requested;

  • Maintain an up-to-date, current budget and assist the chair in monitoring funds of the Roundtable.

  • Assist the Chair in planning and implementing the annual LIRT Retreat.
