“Box of Love” Til Wed, Nov. 25: MDSCO has created a “Box of Love” to spread positivity among the campus. These boxes can be found in the following classrooms: G206 Ms. Kihara, P7 Ms. Crawford, H101 Mr. Shimabuku, H205 Ms. Kristy, E203 Mrs. Sacapanio-Bais.
On a piece of paper students may write a POSITIVE note to someone they admire. It could be a teacher or a classmate. Add their FIRST and LAST name and their grade level. If students wish to leave their names they may. When handing out the notes, a candy will be attached to it for free! Help MDSCO spread positivity. This activity will be going on from Oct 26 to Wed, Nov. 25, 2015. The purpose of this activity is to get students/staff wondering about what MDSCO actually is and why we have it, which is why we didn't define the acronym…KKHS Chess Club: Interested in playing in the FREE Maui Chess Club Youth Tournament on Sat, Nov. 28th from 8am-3pm? The University of Hawaii at Manoa would like to inform you of our “New Warrior Scholarships,” for incoming local freshman. There are three “New Warrior Scholarships”: Regents, Chancellor’s and Manoa Merit, all of which can be applied for on one simple application and are valued at over a combined $1.5 million. Pre-Registration for SY 2016-2017: For Parents of current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders: Registration materials will be coming home on Monday, November 30/Tuesday, December 1. Please have a discussion with your child about the courses they are interested in signing up for next year. Forms should be signed by both student and parent to acknowledge course choices. The grade level counselors will be going into classes to provide registration information, but if you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child's counselor. Students will be registering through their social studies classes during the week of December 7-11.
