Free Scary Movie Night, Oct. 22, 5:30-8pm in Cafe: For all KKHS students, we will be showing "Insidious 3" on October 22nd in our cafeteria from 5:30 - 8:00pm. SA-1 forms will be distributed from Oct. 3 - 7 during morning & lunch recess in G206. Forms are due Oct. 18 - 21 in G206. In order to attend, you must have an SA-1 form submitted & must be cleared of all obligations.

Halloween Costume Contest, Mon, Oct. 31 in front of Library: Halloween is right around the corner! This year's Halloween costume contest will be on Monday, October 31st in front of the library during lunch recess. Sign ups will be held in Ms.Kihara's room G206 on the day of the contest. Students will be able to enter ONE of the following categories: Best group costume (min. 3 people), most original costume, scariest costume, funniest costume, and best teacher impersonation. Winners will get prizes!!

Nisei Veterans Memorial Center’s Hero Awards for Courage & Leadership: The Nisei Veterans Memorial Center (NVMC) is excited to announce information about the Hero Award.   • Best Buddies Selling Kalua Pork Tubs Tickets ($10): Tickets are available from Best Buddies members or Mrs. Nakashima in library conference room. Turn in tickets & pick up the kalua pork tubs at Pukalani Superette. Best Buddies Kekaulike Chapter will donate the proceeds to the Na Ali'i (Positive Behavior) School Store.   • Band 2016-2017 Discount Card: The KKHS Music Program is selling our annual 2016-2017 Discount Card, featuring 36 vendors from around the island. Proceeds support travel, instruments, & repairs for the various music groups on campus. The card costs $10 & can be paid through either cash or a check to "KKHS Band Boosters". Join Na Ali’i Nation: Do you love spirit? Students are invited to Ms.Kihara's room to join Na Alii Nation!! Na Alii Nation is a spirit group that attends home games to cheer on our teams! With membership, you get a shirt, pompom, & megaphone! Memberships for students are $6, & $10 for staff. Discounts available if you sign-up with a group (5+) or have an MIL card!
