Portage Community School Supply Donation Presentation
Our club was chartered November 15, 1921 as club #0622. We belong to the Wisconsin and Upper Michigan District, which was established in 1918 who now has 6 Regions and over 180 Kiwanis clubs. We are in Division #15 with Baraboo, Baraboo Golden K, Reedsburg, Wisconsin Dells, Sauk Prairie, Mauston and Richland Center. Division 15 membership has about 246 members. Our membership as of June 30, 2015 is 32 members. In Kiwanis International, there are over 8,000 clubs and membership over 600,000. Including all Kiwanis clubs in US & International, we raise more than $107 Million.
12:00 – Lunch. 12:20 - Our Meeting: Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, Prayer, Birthday's, Happy Dollars, Project updates, Committee work, etc. 12:40 – Guest speaker or other program. 12:58 – we draw a winner (if you place a $1.00 in your envelope you could win 50% of the amount collected); then meeting is adjourned at 1:00. On the 5th Wednesday, meetings start at 6:00 P.M.
This is an opportunity for you to share your experiences, your knowledge, your time and your love for service to your community and to your fellow people. You will receive a card that lists major fundraisers, committees and who is on them; all members’ names, address and phone numbers; officers and board members; and who has to obtain speakers each month. The prestige of Kiwanis membership, fun, fellowship and evidence of true friendship each time you meet with us.
