WEST VALLEY PARK COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT WAS A BIG SUCCESS!
The Kiwanis Club of West Valley kicked off its 70th year of community service on Oct. 18, 2025, with a cleanup of the West Valley Community Park from 9 a.m. to noon. West Valley High School Key Club, WV Middle Level Builders Club, Wide Hollow K Kids, and several community members played a big role in the success of the project. Project Chair Ken Irwin led 37 volunteers logging ~115 hours picking up litter, pruning back brush and raking leaves. Special thanks to Yakima Parks staff Dave Flory, Jared Aikins and Raul Hernandez for supporting our community service project!
