1996: awarded Tempus scholarship for a study visit at the Open University, UK.
1999–2001: awarded research fellowship by Soros Research Support Scheme on "Social Representatnions as Reflections of Inter-group Relations in the Carpathian Basin".
2001 awarded Erasmus scholarship to La Sapienza University, Rome.
2002: awarded Marie Curie research fellowship to La Sapienza University, Rome.

2001: Identity and stereotyping sections in Mozaik2001 (a large scale representative social survey on Hungarian youth in Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia).
2001–2004: Hungarian partner for EURONAT – Representations of Europe and the nation in current and prospective member-states: Media, elite, and civil society, funded by the European Commission (contract no. HPSE-CT2001-00044).
2004-2007: Co-ordinator of the research title “Competition in Organizational Culture – national aspects and international encounter” within the research project “The personal, societal and institutional conditions for competitiveness” (co-ordinator: Marta Fülöp, NKFP-5/049/04)
