Nanoscale Additive Manufacturing Laboratory

Nanoscale additive manufacturing (3D printing) for electronics, photonics, and quantum science

We aim to advance 3D printing technology into a real-manufacturing platform for next-generation electronic, photonic, and quantum integrated circuits (ICs). Although 3D printing has the potential to offer “More than Moore” routes for improving the integration density and circuit design freedom, the fundamental and technological challenges associated with coarse precision, limited material selection, and low throughput remain unresolved. Our research team focuses on the development of new paradigm 3D printing methods that enable (i) nanoscale precision, (ii) wide material selection, and (iii) parallel production.
