Apple Pie Oatmeal

  • 1/2 old fashioned oats
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 small apple, peeled, cored, and diced into small cubes
  • 3 teaspoons brown sugar, heaping
  • dash of nutmeg
Combine all ingredients into a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low for 10 - 15 minutes or until apples and oats are tender.

Sprinkle with chopped walnuts and serve.
