Located on the corner of Lock & Main in Old old Port Dalhousie, the Kilt & Clover has been a staple of the local economy for over thirteen  years.  The wrap-around patio overlooking the main drag of town is a favorite spot for people watching in the summer, and the incredible heating system keeps everyone comfortable over those chilly winter nights.  To believe that a business hasn't closed it's doors to the public in almost four years is a little hard to believe, most of the time that is.  The last time the Kilt & Clover closed it's doors to the public was New Years Day 2002 (yes we are open Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day!) and that was just to give the staff a chance to recover from the night before.... now we just suffer through the hangover and keep on working. Check out our events page and join us for some holidays you may never have known existed.  The Kilt and Clover was opened on March 17th, 1997.   At this location over the last 175 years there has stood a ship building dry docks, a gas station and a real Chinese laundry.  In the late 1980’s some visionary developers rebuilt the property and through metamorphosis it has become what you see today.  Our motto at the Kilt and Clover is “warm beer and lousy food” which is a tongue and cheek referral to British cuisine.
