Junior Reserve Officer's Training Corps

The JROTC Program is designed to prepare high school age students for responsible leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilities, and privileges as American citizens. The program is a stimulus for promoting graduation from high school and provides instruction and rewarding opportunities, which will benefit the student, the community, and the nation. The JROTC mission statement TO MOTIVATE YOUNG PEOPLE TO BE BETTER CITIZENS provides the focus.

The new updated "state of the art" JROTC curriculum teaches high school students the value of citizenship, service to the community, appreciation of their American heritage, patriotism, military history, first aid, communication skills, and most importantly,  teamwork and leadership.

The new 21st century JROTC program also offers very robust after school activities that can enhance any young person's skills and knowledge.  We have drill teams, physical fitness, color guards, academics, air rifle, social events, public performances, and communty service.
