During work to get water connections up and running in the 311-314 block of units an leaking line was found.  To support fixes the city has been called to complete emergency shut-offs to portions of the complex.  Please note this shut off will affect unit owners of other blocks and water will be restored as soon as possible.

Once we know more we will provide an update.  Thank you for your patience.

Cul-de-sac Paving Mid-August – Save the Date!

posted Jul 25, 2019, 2:52 PM by Killarney Glen Court Newsletter

In mid-August, each of the six cul-de-sacs will be repaved and repaired to remove areas where water pools.

The exact date(s) are not yet confirmed as paving will be weather permitting. When we know the window of time paving will occur the dates will be posted to this website as well as the garbage shed information boards.

You will be required to move your car on the date(s) of paving and any unremoved car will be towed at the owner’s expense. If you plan to be away for an extended period in August, we highly encourage people to move their car(s) for the duration of their time away. Alternatively, we suggest leaving your keys behind for a friend or family member to move your car on paving days.

Over the last few years, fire departments throughout Calgary and Edmonton have reported a higher than average number of fires caused by potting soil and/or peat moss.

If you smoke, please ensure you put out your cigarette in a mason jar with water in it.

If you see someone dispose of a cigarette in an irresponsible manner, please say something to ensure there are no accidental fires in Killarney Glen Court.

Profuse apologies from the Board for the lack of recycling these past few weeks. The gap in service was due to the contract with the previous provider ending and the assessment of contracts from new/additional vendors.

Endeavoring to keep costs down while ensuring quality service, your Board requested apples-to-apples comparisons from the various service providers. This took far more time than anticipated but has alas been resolved.

We are happy to report that recycling bins and pickup will resume immediately.
