Welcome to KMDS!!

We are an amateur musical and dramatic society based in Kilcock, in north County Kildare, approx. 18 miles from Dublin. We have been in existence (in our current form!) since 1970.

Our name comes from the parish to which we are affiliated, the root of which is St. Coca. 

We are a vibrant, friendly society, rightly proud of the quality of our productions. Above all, we wish to enjoy the experience of amateur drama and musical theatre and to provide quality theatre entertainment to the community!

We produce a Pantomime in January and a Musical in April.

Whether it is on stage, backstage or front of house, we are always ready to give a warm welcome to new members.  If you are interested in joining us, please do make contact.

We are a member of the Association of Irish Musical Societies (AIMS) and the Drama League of Ireland (www.dli.ie).

Reminder: Our new venue is located at Kilcock GAA Club.

Directions:

From Maynooth: enter Kilcock along the Maynooth-Kilcock Rd and take a left over the bridge at the harbour. Continue past Centra on your left and take the next left after the pedestrian crossing lights. There is a signpost for Kilcock GAA. Continue on to the end of the road, GAA at the end of this road.

Via the M4/N4: exit the motorway signposted Kilcock. On the roundabout take the exit marked Clane. At the next roundabout take the first exit signposted Kilcock. At the next roundabout take the first exit toward Kilcock, and take the next right (just before the pedestrian crossing lights). Continue on to the end of the road, GAA at the end of this road.
