Intro to Wood Turning

Kids and their parents will learn how to use a wood lathe to turn a block of wood into a beautiful fully functional pen.  Students will learn how the lathe works, and how to use it safely.   The pen is yours to keep.  Instructors will show and tell their own wood turned pieces ilike bowls, chess pieces, goblets, and magic wands, so participants can see the amazing things you can make with the lathe.  Ages 10+.  Parents must attend for students under age 16.  Safety waiver required.

Cost:  $15 per student.
