Gears and Clocks

Who: Ages 7-12
 
Description:
Learn how gears are used in our everyday lives.  The participants will learn what gears are, how they work and get an introduction into the terminology that engineers use while designing systems with gears.  There will be many fun hands-on activities such as a gear petting zoo and problem solving games using gears.  The final activity will be the assembly of a clock using assembly instructions. The clock is yours to keep at the end!  This is a family science workshop for kids and their parents.

Time:  1:00-4:00pm
Cost:  $15 per child.
