Homeschool Support Groups

  • Johnson Ferry Home School Support Group - is open to parents of preschoolers through 12th graders. Our purpose is to encourage each other through prayer, fellowship, and idea sharing as we follow God’s leading in home education.

  • SASCH - Smyrna Area Support for Christian Homeschoolers - We are a group of Christian parents who home educate our children in (and near) Smyrna, Georgia. We have families from Smyrna, Vinings, Mableton, Marietta and Buckhead and more. Our goal is to provide support and encouragement as we journey together in home educating our children. We do this by offering Mom's Night Out, field trips, and social gatherings.

  • Communities for Home Educators for Christ - support group for Georgia families who homeschool in Cobb, Paulding and surrounding counties. CHEC is a cooperative homeschool community.  Our dues are $20 per year.

  • Wisdom's Way - Christian Home Educators - home school support group for Christian educators in Douglas County and surrounding areas. WWCHE is comprised of approximately 100 families with over 300 children ranging in age from infant to high school. While many of our members are seasoned families with a great deal of experience, some are just beginning this home school journey. WWCHE welcomes Christian home school families in West Georgia who share “our love for the kingdom of God and our concern for our nation which drives us to support other Christian parents in this weighty task of training our children in the ways of the Lord.”

  • Dunwoody Area Support for Christian Homeschoolers - a family-integrated fellowship and support group organized to strengthen and encourage Christian home educators in the Dunwoody, Georgia, area. There are also families in our group who home school in other Atlanta areas such as Roswell, Peachtree Corners, Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Brookhaven and Buckhead. This is a Christian group with a statement of faith. Christian home educators of all denominations who have signed a Declaration of Intent to homeschool in Georgia are welcome.
