Kick 4 the Cure 2018 Tournament Information       (APPLICATION IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE)

What is the Kick 4 the Cure?
The Kick 4 the Cure is a Women's Indoor Soccer Tournament, where each team competes initially in a round robin, then winners may advance to quarters or semi finals and eventually the Championship Game, where both teams are awarded with Kick 4 the Cure Medals, and team gifts from our sponsor.

The Kick 4 The Cure is also a fundraiser for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. In eleven years the tournament has generated over $190,000.00 for the Ontario Chapter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. With the growing effort of participants, who fundraise each year individually and as teams to generate funds for breast cancer research, we have been successful in raising the bar each year as to how much money we have donated. Awareness of the disease is one of the most important factors we wish to accomplish at the K4TC, so each year participants are given gifts which help raise awareness of our battle against Breast Cancer!

The Kick 4 The Cure would especially like to thank all of the women who have participated so far, and hope that you will continue to support the tournament! It's amazing how in one day we can create miracles!

Plus Minimum $25.00 Per Player in FUNDRAISING PLEDGES. 16 Player Max on Roster. 6 v 6 (5 Players Plus a Goalie)

WHEN?  SUNDAY, APRIL 22nd, 2018 Kick 4 the Cure is a 1-day tournament.

The Scarborough Soccer Centre, Home of the Scarborough Indoor Soccer League.
( 45 Fairfax Crescent / Scarborough, ON / M1L 1Z6 )

WHY? Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Canadian women. One in nine Canadian women will be diganosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. In 2010, an estimated 22,400 Canadian women were diagnosed with breast cancer, and an estimated 5,300 died from breast cancer. The good news is that only one in every 28 Canadian women will die from breast cancer. This means that about two-thirds of the women diagnosed with breast cancer in Canada will live through it.
The Kick 4 the Cure's purpose is to raise money for Breast Cancer Research in Ontario. Through playing the game we love, we can generate funds to help the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation create a future without breast cancer, and impact the lives of many people we love that are affected by this disease.
