It's Uniform Turn In Time
No socks or gloves. , from till 6 bring your uniforms, that's marching jacket, bibbers, shakos/shako box, gauntlets, to the Kamiak Commons to be turned in. Seniors and students, who will not be participating next season, might like to donate gently used shoes, garment bags, and plumes. If you had your uniform cleaned after Florida please bring it in it's cleaner bag so we know it is ready to be put away until next August when we start the season all over again. So look under the bed and in the back of your closet for all the parts and pieces that make up your show band/marching uniform.

The Florida trip is fast approaching. Is your marching jacket, bibbers, gauntlets, shoes, shako, and silver plume ready to go? Please take your uniform to Speedway cleaners, by Walgreens, and have it cleaned, if you haven't already done so. This includes those of you who will not be going on the Florida trip. All marching uniforms should be dry cleaned by now.
We still have two show tops out standing.
Please check with your student to make sure they turned in their hand washed, line dried show top. Late fees have been assessed to the students KPAB account.
Kamiak Show Band
Here is the info packet from our interest meeting. This includes the printable version of the schedule for the entire 2015 season.
Please hand wash, in cold water, with mild detergent, no Woolite product, your show top and hang to dry. Spot treatment and underarm areas maybe be sprayed with Windex. Please do not wring the show top. Rolling it up in a towel and scrunching it will get a lot of the water out. We will get the word out on turn in procedures soon. Please be aware that fines for not turning in a clean show top or on time, will be incurred to student KPAB accounts.
Marching Jacket and Bibs
Please have your marching jacket and bibs (pants) dry cleaned before the end of the week. Do not wash in a washing machine. We suggest the Speedway Cleaners by Walgreens on the Speedway. This is very important that this gets done as soon as possible. Please take the baldric (silver sash) off the marching jacket before taking the jacket to the cleaners and store the baldric in your shako box.The cleaners will have a list of names to check off as the uniforms come in so we know who is taking care of their uniform.
Your remaining uniform items
Take a minute to air out your gloves, gauntlets, shako and box, silver plume and shoes. Things mildew so fast. When dry, store in a dry shako box till needed.
Any questions regarding the above, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Do not reply to this email.
Thank you for your help and support over the show season. It has been a privilege to serve this fantastic group.
