Along with learning about current technology using Google Reader, students will be learning about the Nine Elements of Digital Citizenship and what good digital citizenship looks like in their lives.

Another website that we are using to create infographics is called Easel.ly.  Students will use this to create an infographic about whatever they want based on statistics from any of the following sites:

Sports Statistics
Coffee Statistics
Statistic Brain - lots of different statistics, even on Justin Beiber!
Brain Statistics
Federal Gov't Statistics
State Statistics
City Data - statistics for all cities
World Health Data

Use these to create a chart on Easel.ly about whatever you want.

Follow the steps in the video to create your
own infographic.


Data Sources:
  1. Get your data
  2. Ask a question
  3. Choose your tools - Publisher, ManyEyes, Hohli
  4. Explore trends, patterns, distance, time
  5. Look at your data to see what story your data tells.
  6. Then, design your visual
