Kewalo Basin is a mixed-use harbor that provides berthing for Charter, Commercial Fishing & Recreational Vessels.  Our slips range in size from 40 to 100 feet in length and we have three loading docks are available for harbor tenants and guests.  We are located in the heart of Honolulu on the south shore of the island of Oahu just outside of Waikiki.  Kewalo Basin Harbor has a long history as a commercial harbor however it was recently made available to recreational boaters as well.

Jurisdiction for the harbor was transferred from the Department of Transportation Harbors Division (DOT-HAR) to the Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA) in March of 2009.
HCDA contracted with Almar Management from California to be their agent for Kewalo Basin Harbor and manage all harbor operations.

There have been improvements and changes at Kewalo Basin Harbor and we invite you to visit us and enjoy the harbor with its many activities that our harbor tenants provide.  We will continue to look for ways to meet the needs of the Harbor tenants & guests and we look forward to sharing Kewalo Basin Harbor with everyone.
