This I Believe

Like the great Magic Johnson once said," you're the only one who can make a difference. Whatever your dream is go for it. I believe that is entirely true, and that just because it seems like sports are easy careers its not it should be respected as a normal career like a lawyer, or a doctor. You should make your dream come true no matter what people say. Just because they say you can't do it, it doesn't mean you can't. Don't give them the benefit of doubting you. No matter what anyone say's make your dream come true. They shouldn't, but even if someone you love tells "you don't do it," or "you can't", keep following your dream. When they tell you that you should tell them you're wrong, I can do anything I put my mind and heart into especially in sports.

Since I like basketball and I play it, I want to go to the NBA. I remeber when I told my mom I wanted to go to the NBA . She said,"come on choose an actual career anybody can become a professional baketball player." I don't think that is true. I felt like she didn't believe in the career I wanted to do, however now she does. Anybody can't become professional basketball player you need determination, and perserverance. It's hard getting drafted into the NBA, because you have to be what the team needs, but you can't give up.If you keep working hard and practicing, eventually you'll get drafted. I think basketball, a great sport, is hard to play when you're a rookie, beacause if you get hurt their going to make you a free agent. I think basketball is a sport that should be recognized as a regular hard working career, and not as a entertainment career.

This concludes my about why basketball should be  respected as a normal career. If you're playing a sport you love and your mom, dad, or family members thinks it's not a normal, or real career you remember this," you're the only one who could make a difference. Whatever your dream is go for it.
