Join Your PTA!


The Kettering PTA is excited to welcome new and returning families to the 2016-17 school year!  We have a fun-filled year planned with events and activities that support our amazing students and bring us together as a community.  Our first step in maintaining our tradition of excellence is our PTA Membership Drive!  Our goal is to have 100% membership from our families to support all that the PTA does to help make our school GREAT!


In order to do this, it costs approximately $160 per student to fund these programs annually.  This is why our fundraisers are essential to maintaining Kettering students’ enriched school experience!  Your membership and support matters!  It costs just $10 per person to join the PTA – the more memberships per family the better!

PTA dues are $10.00 per member.  You can join by:

  • Filling out the 2017-18 membership form.
  • Filling out the membership form sent home with your child
  • Sign up at the PTA table in front of the auditorium at Back-to-School Night
  • Clicking the PayPal button below

If filling out a printed form, bring it to the Parent Center in Room 7 or school office and remember to include your membership dues.

If you use Paypal, add student and/or member names in the “Add Special Instructions to the Seller” section on the website.

For each $10 donated, you will receive a raffle ticket to enter to win Kettering Spirit Wear! 

Also, the first class to reach 90% membership will receive a root beer float party!


PTA is America’s number one parent involvement resource.  By becoming a member, not only will you help your child in one of the most important ways possible, but you will also receive valuable benefits:

  • Online parenting resources, including select articles from Our Children Magazine
  • E-newsletters on parenting and legislative issues
  • Exclusive discounts and offers from PTA sponsors and member benefits providers, such as Staples and Hertz.
  • Leadership training opportunities
  • The Member-to-Member Network, connecting you to Congress when help is needed on issues important to children, schools and families


Additional support in the form of a donation is always appreciated, welcomed and is tax deductible.  

Every dollar above $10 goes directly to Kettering.  And since every PTA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ALL contributions are tax deductible.

Joining the PTA does not require a time commitment but does give you a voice and a vote.  Make your voice heard.

We encourage all members of your family to become a PTA member, including your Kettering student.  There is no limit to how many memberships you bring in.  Parents, Aunts & Uncles, Siblings, Neighbors, Grandma & Grandpa, Cousins, Friends and even pets!
