Jobless Rate Graphically Illustrated

Jay Tieber shared this in an e-mail.  Click on the link below to watch a graphic which illustrates the progression of the joblessness in the US since January 2007 to October 2009.

Things started to look bad in the fall of 2008, about the time Obama took over in the campaign polls. And 2009 has been quite a disaster for jobs.

These people in Washington refuse to listen to businessmen about what is needed to create jobs. As a small business owner I am absolutely not going to do any hiring with the prospects of higher taxes, more regulations, more mandates (healthcare), higher energy costs (cap and trade)  and more national debt ( the stimuli) --- things that are in store for us.
They stage a phony job summit without inviting the people who know how to create jobs.

The incompetence of our government is increasingly evident as they continue to blame George Bush .

The map shows a very resourceful county in North Dakota that didn't change its color.
