Our Projects

Our projects are divided into short term and long term projects. We are currently working on 3 long term projects with the Cupertino Rotary & several Rotary clubs in Kenya - which will take 4-5 years to complete, and one short term project with The School Fund. More information about our projects is below.

Current 2012-2013 Project at UC Irvine:

Kokwa Island Primary School

Since this school is geographically isolated, they don't receive much help and not nearly enough academic supplies to help the students keep up with the rest of their country's school system. This is why we've chosen this project to build a fully equipped library for them. This means along with renovating the room, we'll be paying for books, computers, desks and chairs, and any other necessary library equipment.

Short Term Projects:

The School Fund

  • We raised $21,778 in 2012 from Ken-Ya Dance NorCal & SoCal events to fund 53 students through The School Fund for their education costs. Students were provided scholarships for supplies, food, and pay for their tuition costs. Check out our impact made in 2012 here!
