Ann Stewart Anderson


Born in Frankfort KY
Mother was an artist
Worked at the Corcoran School  of Art in the late 1950s
Taught art in Montgomery County Maryland until 1964, then became Dean of Students and Associate Professor of Art at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Moved back to Louisville in 1975
1977-1991 - artist in residence, St Francis High School
Executive director of the Kentucky Foundation for Women in the 1990s
Originator and principal coordinating artist, with Judy Chicago, of The Hot Flash Fan
