Now that the semester is in full swing, I figure you should know when and where our meetings are! This semester, meetings will be held on Friday evenings at 6pm, in room 310C in the Student Center. All are welcome, as much fun and intellectual stimulation will be had! Also, feel free to join us afterward in the hub for noms and socializing. Hope to see you all there!
Hello my darlings! A few of us met up today to discuss some ideas for the semester, and among the many items that need to be sorted out is when exactly do we want to meet next semester?! This is very important, as we need to know what day and time we want to meet so that we can coordinate with the Student Center staff and reserve a space. The overall consensus was that we should meet Friday evenings, as that day works best for most work schedules. This poses a problem, as many events on campus occur Friday evenings, and I know many people like to enjoy their weekends away from school. So please, leave your preferences in the comments on the facebook group so that they can be tallied.
1- Meeting days are to be weekdays (M,T,W,Th,F)
2- Meeting times are to be from 5p-8p (Ex: 6:30, 7:45, 5:40). The time you list indicates the start time of the meeting.
3- If you prefer last year's meeting time (Thursdays at 6p), simply type "Same."
For example, your vote for day and time would be in the following format: "Th 6:30," or "Same." If you do not abide by these guidelines, your vote will not be tallied.
Alright kids, as you can all see, there have been some changes to the website. This includes some design changes, as well as some layout changes. Hopefully the new layout makes some sense and isn't too difficult to navigate. If something isn't working for you, or you have suggestions, you can either email the KSFreethinkers address, or my personal email (kabshir1@gmail). As the semester looms upon us, I will be updating this site with pertinent information such as meetings, meet-ups, events, and fun/interesting news items. I hope everyone enjoys their last few weeks of summer, and here's to a great Fall 2011 semester!
