I like to read. I like to watch television. I have an immense sense of humor. The more you know about history the more humorous you may be able to be when you devise strategies. I recommend people read The Art of War by Sun Tzu, John Locke, The Federalist Papers, Caesar: A Biography by Christian Meier, and Machiavelli's Discourses.
The more faith people have in their leaders and the less faith they have in themselves the less Individual Liberty, freedoms, and wealth they are likely to have. People should not trust any person 100 percent. This is especially true when dealing with government leaders. A person should not trust the person's self 100 percent. I do not trust myself or anybody else 100 percent.
I combine political strategy, military strategy, business strategy, and humor strategy when I devise strategies. Before Iran Contra, I had pretty much decided that I did not want to run for elective office and did not want to discuss the issues much. I decided to someday run for elective office because Iran Contra reminded me of the craziness of the Roman Empire when Emperors were sometimes killed by their security guards. If you are going to engage in a long term activity you think is most likely going to be futile, I recommend thinking of many different ways of making it humorous. People need to realize that the great works they do may be ruined someday by idiots who have not been born yet. Many Presidents of the United States of America were idiots. Many members of Congress were idiots. Many members of Congress are idiots. It is important for State Legislatures to be better able to check the power of the federal government because many members of Congress are idiots.
I care more about our Republic than political parties. I have voted for many Democrats and many Republicans. I vote for the person who I think will be best for our Republic long term or for the person who I think will do the least amount of damage to our Republic long term.
Before Amendment Seventeen was passed, United States Senators were chosen by State Legislatures which gave them a say on which Treaties were adopted, which Treaties were not adopted, trade agreements, national debt, War, Ambassadors, Supreme Court Justices, and other topics important to State Legislatures.
I would like an Amendment to the United States Constitution adopted that allows each State to have at least 3 United States Senators and allows each State Legislature to choose at least 1 United States Senator.
I would like an Amendment to the United States Constitution adopted that allows State Legislatures to repeal federal laws, federal regulation, trade agreements, and Treaties.
I would like an Amendment to the United States Constitution adopted that allows State Legislatures to recall (fire) their Representatives to the United States House of Representatives, their United States Senators, the President of the United States of America, and the Vice President of the United States of America.
